Front desk volunteers work in the "House," which is open every weekday from 10-3. We provide access to showers, mail, lockers, telephone, pet food, laundry vouchers, and other basic necessities. It is also a place to meet friends and find refuge from the weather. Volunteers help run the shower list, pass out mail, and distribute hygiene supplies, along with a number of other tasks. It is most helpful to us to have volunteers who can commit to a predictable schedule of hours each week or month, even if they are relatively few in number. Volunteer shifts last 3 hours.
